Evan Kanter’s Almost Alive project returns with new single “Moon Come Down”.
The song signals the beginning of the campaign for upcoming album 'Headwinds' and brings the project further into post-grunge territory, with influences from Soundgarden and Audioslave informing its heavier approach.
Technology remains central to Almost Alive, but Kanter has emphasised that the tools are being used to support rather than replace creative decision-making.
For the new video, he combined facial animation, cinematic generation and AI-assisted planning with conventional editing, refining the material manually over several weeks.
“Moon Come Down” is also the first release to place Kanter’s own likeness at the centre of Almost Alive’s visual identity.
