Innovative alt-rock artist Thurtythree returns with their most emotionally charged release to date: “Quietly Ablaze,” a ferocious yet haunting single that sets the tone for their highly anticipated debut album, due later this summer.
Fusing the raw energy of nu-metal with the brooding atmospherics of modern alternative rock, “Quietly Ablaze” is a sonic punch to the chest — an anthem for anyone who has felt consumed by pressure, emotion, or the inescapable weight of their own reality. Drawing influence from Linkin Park, Bring Me The Horizon, Nevertel, Normandie, and Caskets, Thurtythree blends nostalgic angst with razor-sharp production and a contemporary edge.
“It’s about when you’re drowning under too much of anything in your life,” explains Thurtythree. “And while the fire should be extinguished by the leagues of water that are drowning you, everything is still on fire — even though it shouldn’t be possible. It’s a feeling of impossibility and dealing with the futile and never-ending nature of it.”
Crafted in the studio during a moment of personal crisis, “Quietly Ablaze” channels that sense of frustration and futility into towering guitars, industrial textures, and emotionally charged vocals. The result is a track that’s both cathartic and immersive — as introspective as it is anthemic.
Thurtythree first emerged with critically acclaimed EPs Access Revoked and Infinite Chaos, featuring underground hits like “Dodged a Bullet,” “Raid,” and “Diseased.” Known for raw, unforgettable live performances and music that blends pain with power, the artist has rapidly built a cult following across the alt-rock and post-hardcore scenes.
With “Quietly Ablaze,” Thurtythree is not only turning up the heat — they’re laying the emotional groundwork for an album that promises to redefine the boundaries of modern rock.
