Annah Marcelle is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter whose song ‘Mars’ explores self-identity and the need for new experiences. Composed in January 2023, the song is the first taste of her forthcoming five-track EP, Aftermath. The musical compilation portrays a poignant voyage through the aftermath of profound heartache. The last song will be published in the autumn of 2024, with a new one dropping every six weeks.
Annah’s ethereal vocals transcend genre boundaries and highlight her versatility as the talented artist she is. Last summer, she visited Music City for the first time, collaborating with Nashville-based producer Kara Greskovi, to capture the city's emerging artistic scene and record the whole EP. In her most recent work, Annah explores the fine line that separates desire from satisfaction.
‘Mars’ is a sign of Annah’s creative potential and a lighthouse of her artistic brilliance as she navigates the ever-changing landscape of the music business. To ensure you don't miss any forthcoming releases, be sure to listen to her most recent single and follow her on social media.
“I’ve always thought the idea of people wanting to go to Mars was intriguing and crazy. That would definitely be out of my comfort zone! It made me realize that leaving your life behind to go to Mars is a lot like losing yourself and your identity for a person or relationship,” Annah Marcelle comments on the release.
