From busking on the streets of Camden to selling out shows across the world, blues-rock powerhouse Cam Cole continues his remarkable independent journey with new single ‘Chasing Dreams’, taken from his forthcoming album Lost In Creation, arriving October 30, 2026.

Known as “probably the heaviest one-man band in the world”, Cole has built an international following through his raw, uncompromising performances, earning millions of streams, appearances in the Emmy Award-winning series Ted Lasso and a place on the soundtrack of EA’s UFC 6.

Now, ‘Chasing Dreams’ offers a glimpse into his most ambitious record yet, combining vintage blues-rock guitar tones, a driving four-on-the-floor rhythm and an uplifting message about finding purpose in a world that can often feel overwhelming.

“The song is about a time when I was trying to solve all the problems of the world and taking them on and getting swallowed up by it,” Cole explains. “It’s about realising that the best thing we can actually do instead is be the best version of ourselves and through that we make the world a better place. So you chase your own dreams and I chase mine.”

The single previews a significant sonic evolution for Cole, whose forthcoming album was recorded at Dean Street Studios in London and mastered at Abbey Road.

While retaining the raw live foundations that made his one-man-band performances so distinctive, Lost In Creation introduces a more expansive approach to recording. Cole's Farmer Footdrums and guitar were captured simultaneously in the studio before being developed through additional instrumentation, guest vocalists and experimental production.

“This whole album has a different feel to my previous ones,” Cole says. “We started experimenting and painting around it with different vibes and sounds, guest vocalists and odd instruments, and then the tracks really came alive. That’s where the album title Lost In Creation comes from, we really got lost in it in a good way.”

That creative freedom also shaped ‘Chasing Dreams’, which developed from a promising early demo into one of Cole's personal favourites from the album sessions.

The release follows an extraordinary rise for the fiercely independent musician. Having first attracted attention through his street performances in Camden, Cole has since sold out shows across Europe, North America and Australia, taking his distinctive combination of blues, rock and heavy riffs to audiences worldwide.

His career has also extended beyond the stage, with his music featured in Ted Lasso, an Amazon Prime documentary chronicling his first American tour and, more recently, the video game UFC 6.

Despite those achievements and the broader musical direction of Lost In Creation, Cole says the album's underlying purpose remains simple: offering listeners an opportunity to escape into music.

“I guess if there is a main theme on Lost In Creation that connects all the tunes,” he explains, “it’s about escaping into music and having a breather for a moment.”

With ‘Chasing Dreams’, Cole channels that philosophy into a hard-driving blues-rock anthem about letting go of the pressure to fix everything and instead pursuing something meaningful of your own.
