Bristol indie-dreampop quartet Chasing Kites return with their new single ‘Luna’. Produced by Sam Winfield (Bring Me The Horizon, Amber Run) at Studio 91, the track blends electronic textures, beautiful shoegaze-influenced guitar lines, and driving rhythms with emotive, melodic vocals. Building from a dreamy, atmospheric verse into an anthemic indie chorus, showcasing the band’s ability to shift dynamics while maintaining emotional depth.
Vocalist Matt Denelly describes ‘Luna’ as “a retelling of a dream about the end of the world. Although this apocalyptic scenario is inevitably quite crucial, the track is more centred around the protagonist falling in love, overshadowing everything else that is going on. It’s a love letter to the all-consuming power of infatuation.”
Since forming in 2021, Chasing Kites have sold out shows across the UK and received support across tastemaker press as well as raido plays on BBC Bristol, and RTE. They've opened for The Lottery Winners, King No-One, and Dutch Criminal Record, and have twice been named BBC’s ‘Big New Sound.’
