Indie-rockers Haytor have released their latest single Need To Know (When You’re Coming Home) following a run of sold-out headline shows across the South West. Out Now, the track blends emotional sincerity with bright guitar work and infectious indie-pop hooks, bringing together the band’s signature 80s-inspired aesthetic.

Punchy but nuanced, the song balances inventive guitar lines and subtle keys with a heartfelt vocal delivery, while the rhythm section injects a sense of urgency through pulsing bass and high-energy drums. Frontman Austin Robison said the song was written during the height of summer and was conceived as a “big, vibey, late night drive track.” He added: “It’s about the absence of that someone, the longing of that connection and collections of hazy memories together.”

With Need To Know (When You’re Coming Home), Haytor underline their position as one of the UK’s most promising indie-rock prospects, pairing vibrant energy with a heartfelt edge.
