For The Whips, success didn’t start on TV, it started on a Kansas City school bus. Years before frontman Max Coopermade waves on The Voice, the band was already built on friendship and long nights spent rehearsing in garages and dorm rooms.
Their new single 'Together in Agony' captures that same DIY spirit. Written by Max Indiveri and recorded in a small bedroom studio, it’s a striking blend of vulnerability and intensity, with Cooper’s emotive delivery front and centre.
The song explores the quiet heartbreak of staying in a failing relationship out of fear of starting over. It’s intimate, cinematic, and distinctly their own; proof that life after reality TV can be about craft.
