Renowned for their otherworldly blend of rock n’ roll, indie, garage, and pop fusion, Canadian rock revival outfit Original Pair have released their highly-anticipated new album, ‘Long Play’.

Transporting listeners to the heart of garage, rockabilly, and psychedelia through a dark poetic filter through the eight tracks, Original Pairs showcases their strong foundation as a band with this polished offering.

As the album unfolds, the vocals float effortlessly over the well-produced songs, fusing nostalgic and contemporary elements that translate into the mainstream. The evocative environment created by co-producer and engineer John Dinsmore resulted in amazing songs with a big, live, and articulate sound that gave ‘Long Play’ a crunchy, crispy, powerful rock 'n' roll vibe.

‘Long Play’ showcases the group’s versatility as musicians, delivering a collection of songs that are universally relatable and deeply personal.

“Rock ‘n ‘roll is nearly dead, so we need to revive it. That means saying what you mean, playing what you play sweating it out, live off the floor. No clicks, no comps, no edits, no cynical force-fed, second-guessed crap,” Original Pairs comments on the release.
