Tom Ymani expands his independent pop vision with ‘Amorium’
Tom Ymani is continuing to develop his independent pop identity with the release of ‘Amorium’, a new two-track project featuring “I Want You Way” and “Encore Plus”.
Both songs are built around the experience of attraction and the complicated feelings that emerge when a potential relationship remains out of reach.
Ymani has cited artists including Madonna, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Ariana Grande and Dua Lipa as important reference points in his understanding of modern pop, while Belgian acts such as Angèle, Stromae and Loïc Nottet have also influenced his sense of artistic possibility.
That combination of international ambition and independent production shapes Amorium. Ymani wrote the lyrics and melodies, guided the creative direction and recorded early vocal versions himself before later studio sessions refined the final performances.
The release is supported by a professionally produced video, continuing Tom Ymani’s interest in combining music with choreography, fashion and visual storytelling.
