“Days Like These” is built on an infectious intro guitar riff that sets the tone from the first few seconds. The single was recorded at Puzzlemaker Studios in Bristol, with Robin Alexander on drums, Dan Plimmer on bass, Cristiano Pochesci on pedal steel, and Josh himself on vocals and guitar. “I wrote this while I was feeling nostalgic, looking back on past summers with my mates—racing dirt bikes and just living without realising how special those moments were. This song is about that feeling of looking back and missing them,” says Beer.
