Welcome To Future shares anthemic new single ‘P!T’

Welcome To Future is beginning the campaign for his forthcoming debut EP with the release of “P!T (Punk ist tot)”, a new single built around loud guitars and a message of youth participation.
The German musician first attracted wider attention as a contestant on The Voice, becoming one of the few performers to bring punk to the programme and reportedly inspiring a mosh pit in the studio audience.
Now 18, he is working with established producer Peter Hoffmann on a collection of songs intended to connect rock music with present-day concerns. “P!T” addresses political powerlessness, social media fatigue and the feeling that protest has been replaced by passive consumption.
Welcome To Future’s debut EP, Grenzen, is expected to explore related subjects including diversity, climate anxiety, social boundaries and the growing isolation experienced by young people across Europe.
