India International Music Week (IIMW), the country’s first-of-its-kind international music trade conference and showcase festival, has unveiled the first artist announcement for its highly anticipated 2026 edition. The event is set to take place from February 10–12, 2026, in Mumbai, ushering in a new era of global collaboration, cross-cultural exchange, and breakthrough artist discovery.

Following a landmark debut in Goa in February 2025—where nearly 400 delegates from over 30 countries participated, including representatives from PRS, EMEE (European Music Exporter Exchange) and CNM (Centre national de la musique)—IIMW firmly positioned India on the world music map. The upcoming 2026 edition aims to build on this momentum with a bigger, bolder, and more globally inclusive programme.

A Lineup Reflecting Global Music Mobility

Staying true to IIMW’s mission of championing Global Music Mobility, this first artist announcement features a diverse lineup of boundary-pushing performers across soul, funk, pop, indie, jazz, rock, R&B, and electronic genres.

2026 Announced Artists:

Easy Wanderlings (India) – soul-funk ensemble

J-Silk (France) – electronic jazz duo

Jasmine Kiara (Canada) – R&B/pop artist

A Vision for a More Connected Global Music Landscape

“IIMW 2026 is about giving emerging artists a stage and showing that music from India and beyond has the power to travel, connect and inspire. The artistry on display proves that South Asia is ready to be part of the global conversation, and our artist selection reflects the spirit of IIMW—inclusive in genre, gender and geography,” said Sushil Chhugani, Director, India International Music Week & India Music Exchange.

What’s New in IIMW 2026

With renewed energy and international momentum, the 2026 edition introduces:

A more expansive conference + showcase festival format

New programme segments spotlighting innovation, creativity, and cultural exchange

Multi-city artist tours and activations, taking music beyond Mumbai

Broader representation from global markets and diverse Indian music ecosystems

IIMW continues to serve as a pioneering platform created by India Music Exchange (IMX)—a unique space where culture and commerce meet, connecting Indian music with the world at scale.
