Musroe continues multidisciplinary approach with ‘Left2Rot/Now’

Musroe is continuing to blur the boundaries between music and visual art with new release “Left2Rot/Now”.

The Montréal-based producer and multidisciplinary artist has shared the two-track project ahead of her forthcoming EP EPHEMERA. Both songs are intended to function as a single sequence, moving from the compressed tension of “Left2Rot” into the quieter, suspended atmosphere of “Now”.

Musroe handles her own writing, arrangements and production, treating each recording as part of a wider creative practice rather than an isolated song.

That approach has developed alongside her academic background in Museum Studies. Her previous EP was exhibited within a contemporary art show in Montréal before later inspiring a fashion collaboration with Blusas Loemil.

Musically, Musroe continues to move between indie rock, ambient pop and more experimental production without settling into one fixed genre.
