Metalcore Band GlassCastles Release Debut EP

Perth-based melodic metalcore/post-hardcore outfit GlassCastles are set to unleash their highly anticipated debut EP Digital:Heart, led by the emotionally charged lead single “Gravestones.”

Since emerging in 2024, GlassCastles have rapidly carved out their place in Australia’s heavy scene with a sound that fuses crushing riffs, cinematic atmospheres, and raw emotional honesty. Drawing inspirations from the likes of Bring Me The Horizon, Architects and Linkin Park, the band has already landed a spot on the Parkway Drive Pre-Show Party lineup, supported Behind Crimson Eyes on their farewell run, and built a reputation for immersive, high-impact live performances featuring synchronized visuals, blistering energy, and deep audience connection.

Their breakout track “Ghost” hit over 10,000 streams within six weeks, while follow-up single “The End of Us” debuted at #3 on Spotify’s Pulse chart in Houston, clear signs that the band’s message and music are resonating far beyond their hometown.

Now, with Digital:Heart, GlassCastles dive deeper into their dystopian sonic universe. Across six tracks, the EP explores themes of digital decay, emotional disconnection, and the silent battles of mental health. Vocalist Aaron draws from lived experience with depression and anxiety, crafting lyrics that shine a light on the struggle of measuring up to society’s distorted digital ideal of perfection.

Lead single “Gravestones” captures this sentiment with haunting force. Built around a modern take on a nu-metal riff and an emotive, melodic chorus, the track evolved from an idea Aaron first penned four years ago. With added layers from Grant and Scott on guitars and a complete reimagining of synth textures, “Gravestones” has become a brooding anthem that sets the tone for the EP.
