Noah & The Void, the heartfelt musical project from 27-year-old artist and former Berklee dropout Noah Chartier, returns with “Love Comes Free”, a euphoric, genre-blurring single that captures the emotional weight of struggle and the unexpected power of joy. It’s a shimmering alt-pop, folky anthem, built for late-night drives, windows down, and a heart wide open.
Chartier, whose project is rooted in mental health awareness, personal growth, and raw emotional storytelling, once again delivers a track that’s as relatable as it is refreshing, with layers of meaning wrapped in infectious melody.
“For me, this song feels like a release,” Noah shares. “I feel lighter, and happier after realizing there’s good things that come when you least expect it—for as long as you put love into the world, it seems to find a way back.”
“Love Comes Free” started as a simple backyard jam session, with Noah casually strumming his guitar next to his dog. What began as playful turned into something powerful: a free-flowing emotional outpouring sparked by one spontaneous lyric. From there, the song took shape organically, merging Noah’s signature mix of acoustic soul, alternative pop, and emotionally-driven production into something simultaneously cathartic and uplifting.
At the heart of Noah & The Void is a mission to amplify mental health awareness and support causes that matter. All streaming revenue from the project is donated 100% to Pediatric Cancer Research via Evan’s Crew, in memory of Noah’s close friend, Evan. The group has raised over $1 million in charitable funds. “Everyone has a Void,” says Noah. “This project is about recognizing that struggle—and showing people that it’s okay to feel, and okay to ask for help.”
With its blend of emotional honesty and sonic brightness, “Love Comes Free” acts as a celebration of resilience. A declaration that love, healing, and connection are never out of reach.
