Chart-topping Slovak singer-songwriter Alan Murin has officially returned with his deeply personal new single, “All I Need Is Love.” Seamlessly blending warm, radio-ready production with raw emotional honesty and a soaring anthemic chorus, the uplifting pop ballad arrives as a powerful reminder of healing, resilience, and the human connections that ground us.

The origins of “All I Need Is Love” are as pure as the track's message. Crafted during an intimate songwriting camp in Iceland, the song was born out of instant, genuine human connection. Collaborating with acclaimed Icelandic producer Halldór Gunnar Pálsson and celebrated songwriter Arnór Dan Arnarson, Murin found himself immediately disarmed by the creative atmosphere.
“The session started with a hug,” Murin recalls. “Within seconds of meeting, Arnór asked if he could hug me. It immediately broke down every wall in the room and created this safe space where we could talk honestly about life, family, struggles, and the things that keep us going.”
Those raw, late-night conversations became the emotional scaffolding for the track. Personal reflections on hardship, spirituality, and wisdom passed down from family members were slowly sculpted into lyrics that manage to feel intensely private yet entirely universal.
Musically, “All I Need Is Love” deliberately rejects over-polished digital sheen in favor of warmth and simplicity. The track is anchored by a gorgeous, live piano performance by Pálsson, but its true charm lies in its rhythmic foundation.
Much of the percussion was built using organic foley sounds captured right in the studio—rhythmic foot stomps, the creak of chair knocks, and the hollow thud of a guitar case. This tactile approach gives the song a breathing, human quality that perfectly mirrors its message of authenticity.
The single unfolds like a reassuring acoustic embrace. Murin describes the piece as something written just as much for children as for the “inner child” carried by every adult. “It’s like a little anthem of support or motivation,” he explains. “Just a song to hug you when you need the hug.”
Since bursting onto the scene in 2019, Alan Murin has skyrocketed to become one of Slovakia’s most successful modern pop exports. Amassing millions of streams and routinely conquering the official IFPI charts, he has built a massive following on his own terms. His 2022 debut album, Trueself, released independently via his own label, served as a blueprint for his fierce creative independence.
Murin is also one of the region's hardest-working live performers, clocking in more than 130 concerts annually, spanning major festivals like Hip Hop Žije to massive public arena celebrations. The new single arrives on the heels of major chart momentum, following his recent #1 hit “Domov” and the current airplay juggernaut “Ty a Ja,” which continues to dominate Slovak radio playlists.
