Technology plays a central role in “Left Right”, the latest release from Madison producer and artist Disco Proof.

The single was independently arranged, mixed and mastered after being created in Ableton, but its production also incorporates audio software developed by Disco Proof.

Custom plugin Proof Dust was used to add texture and movement, while Proof Prism helped control the low end with club sound systems in mind.

Those technical details support a deliberately straightforward concept. “Left Right” is a tech-house track designed around physical movement, taking the easy-to-follow nature of a line dance and transferring that communal feeling into electronic club music.

It arrives as Disco Proof begins developing a more club-oriented side of the project after six releases in six months.

Previous tracks “4888 brassica” and “tension at 3am” have surpassed 28,000 and 23,000 streams respectively, helping the emerging catalogue reach a growing international audience.
