Mila Sidhu makes a confident return with ‘One Night’, a sleek alternative R&B and pop track that places sensuality, self-assurance and cultural identity at its centre. Built around crisp production and seductive vocals, the track captures the feeling of entering a room with complete confidence, shifting the focus from seeking attention to choosing where it goes.

Produced alongside Siloe, ‘One Night’ began with Mila’s desire to introduce an Indian influence into the production. Her later exploration of traditional Indian musical scales, developed while working with an Indian singer during a trip to India, adds depth to the track and reflects the multicultural perspective that continues to shape her artistry.

Raised between different countries and cultures, the 25-year-old Berklee alum draws from alternative R&B, jazz, hip-hop and darker pop, with influences including Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, Billie Eilish and Norah Jones. That breadth is reflected in music that balances intimacy with a strong cinematic sensibility.

While vulnerability and emotional complexity have often informed Mila’s songwriting, ‘One Night’ represents a more assured side of her creative identity.
